🎹 Junior Keys (Ages 5-9)- Tuesdays, 6:30pm
The Foundation of Fun Perfect for young beginners! We focus on building "finger fitness," learning to read the staff, and playing simple, recognizable melodies. Lessons are high-energy and designed to keep younger minds engaged while fostering a genuine love for the instrument.
🎼 Rising Artists (Ages 10-15) Wednesdays, 6:30pm
Technique & Creative Identity This middle-tier group is where students really start to find their "sound." We dive deeper into music theory and more complex rhythms. Whether they want to master a classical piece or learn the latest pop hits, we provide the tools to help them play with confidence and style.
🎵 Adult & Teen Studio (Ages 16+ / Adults) Fridays, 6:30pm
Beginner to Intermediate – Your Pace, Your Music It is never too late to start or pick up where you left off! This class is designed specifically for beginners and intermediate players looking for a creative outlet. We focus on practical skills, chord patterns, and favorite songs in a relaxed, low-pressure environment. Whether you're playing for relaxation or personal achievement, we tailor the path to fit your busy lifestyle.

Classes begin April 7th at Paris Academy for the Arts. Kid’s Sessions will be Tuesdays, Youth Wednesdays and Adults Fridays

Meet the Instructor:
Jordan A. May is a dedicated music educator and accomplished pianist based in McKenzie, Tennessee. With a strong foundation in music performance and pedagogy, Jordan excels in teaching piano to students of all skill levels. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Industries Studies from Bethel University, where he honed his expertise in music production and technology. Currently, he is deepening his knowledge by pursuing a Master of Arts in Ministerial Leadership from Southeastern University.
Jordan's passion for music education is reflected in his previous role as an Adjunct Professor at Bethel University, where he crafted engaging lesson plans and utilized interactive teaching methods to inspire growth in his students. His focus on piano performance, music composition, and creative problem-solving helped students develop their musical talents and confidence.
In addition to his teaching experience, Jordan serves as a Worship Leader at Overflow Church, where he plays piano and keys, and works with young adults and youth ministries. His role involves directing music for Sunday experiences, fostering an atmosphere of worship through music.
With over 15 years of experience as an audio engineer, Jordan combines technical skills with his musical expertise, bringing a unique perspective to music education. His certifications in Dante, Avid Pro Tools, and Soundgrid further underscore his commitment to excellence and adaptability in both teaching and performance environments.
